On August 19, 2024, Hebei Shangze successfully delivered steel fibers to three customers on schedule. The deliveries included 34 tons of sheared steel fibers, 0.5 tons of hooked-end steel fibers, and 15 tons of hooked-end steel fibers boned in rows. The continuous shipment of steel fibers meets market demand and supports construction projects.

To help everyone better understand our products, I will introduce these three types of steel fibers: sheared steel fibers, loose hooked-end steel fibers, and hooked-end steel fibers boned in rows.
 

Detailed Introduction to the Steel Fibers

Our steel fiber products are primarily used in reservoirs, the Three Gorges Dam, railways, bridges, airports, and other similar locations.

Loose hooked-end steel fibers

The cold-drawn steel wire with a diameter of 0.4 ~ 0.8mm is cut into short fibers with a cutter, punch or rotation according to the specified length.The tensile strength of steel fiber made of cold-drawn steel wire can reach 1000-2000MPa. The end hook type steel fiber is cut by thin steel wire of a certain strength and diameter, the middle is straight, and the two ends are bent into a hook shape.  

Loose hooked-end steel fibers are widely used in industrial floors, roads, bridges, and tunnels. Compared to collated steel fibers, they have a lower cost. Loose hooked-end steel fibers enhance the strength and toughness of concrete.

To ensure the strength of the steel fibers, high-quality low-carbon custom wire rods are used, with a tensile strength that is 2-5 times that of ordinary rebar. High-quality glue is applied to ensure that the steel fibers can resist external forces and do not easily come apart before use. During the concrete mixing process, the steel fibers distribute evenly without bending, making them easy to use. The collated hooked-end steel fibers are bonded with water-soluble glue, allowing for low dosage and high performance.
